I married my first husband in the Roman Catholic Church in 1982. I got into a severely abusive relationship to include physically, mentally, verbally, ignoring my disability (Bipolar Disorder). We split on August 27,2015 and my civil marriage to my second husband is being annuled due to the violence and substance abuse. I am now back with my husband I married in 1982 and were legally divorced. We have been together approximately 3 years and are very happy. Do we have to get remarried in the church as with the annulment it is my only marriage. Any information on common law marriage would be helpful.
